What is DSA?

The “Divisional School of the Arts” is designed to impact musicians, actors, and dancers of all ages and skill levels through performance-based groups and an education-focused training program. The program exists to train Salvation Army artist for continued music and arts involvement and leadership in their corps and for more advanced musical involvement in other areas of The Salvation Army's ministries.

When is the DSA held, and where is it held?

All rehearsals are held at camp on the dates listed below. Rehearsals begin on Friday evening at 8:00 p.m. and end on Saturday at 4:00 p.m.

  • October 4-5 
  • November 8-9 
  • January 24-25 
  • February 14-15 
  • March 14-15....................March 28-29 
  • April 11-13 (Divisional Youth Band & Lights Up! ONLY – YOUTH COUNCILS WEEKEND
  • May 9-10 (DSA GRADUATION)
