Wendy Hood - Vocal & Piano Ministries Director
Wendy currently serves as an instructor and coordinator of piano and vocal ministries for youth and adults for The Salvation Army in North Carolina & South Carolina.
Wendy has performed with various vocal ensembles including the "George Mason University Chamber Ensemble". She has also served as a vocal soloist while on tour in Europe with The Salvation Army's "National Capital Band". In addition, she also participated in a tour of the United Kingdom in the early 90's with the "Southern Territorial Songsters", and, in 1990, Wendy performed a vocal solo in the world-famous Royal Albert Hall in London, England as part of a tour with the "New South Singers." She is also an accomplished trombonist and performed with the "National Capital Band" on their tour of Russia in 1994.
Wendy's educational background includes studies in choral music education at George Mason University and International Studies (Spanish) at Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2000, Wendy graduated from The Salvation Army "Evangeline Booth College for Officer Training" in Atlanta, Ga. and became a Salvation Army officer. Since then, Wendy has left officership to take up her position in music ministries along with her husband, Jamie Hood.

Sabrina Borum - Divisional Creative Arts Director
Sabrina Borum is the Creative Arts Director for the Carolinas where she coordinates theatre and dance programs.
Sabrina began her arts ministry at the age of 8 in the Rocky Mount, NC Corp. As a young soldier, she took advantage of every performance opportunity including dance solos, the band, and annual musicals. Sabrina went on to instruct others in creative arts ministry starting at age of 12. Before college, Sabrina was an active performing artist in her community and school. She took lead and supporting roles in shows such as Traveling Wanda and The Ghost of Christmas Present in Scrooge, Peppermint Patty in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Milly in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, Rusty in Footloose, and Anita in West Side Story to name a few. Sabrina played Euphonium in NSC’s Divisional Youth band for 4 years which included mission trips to Spain in 2005 and 2007, and marching in the Rose Bowl parade in 2007. She also was featured on the cover and in a two page article in the April 2009 Young Salvationist magazine for her work with the Salvation Army in Haiti.
Sabrina studied music performance at Asbury University for 2 years. While at Asbury, she toured with the concert choir and Salvation Army Student Fellowship band and songsters. As an undergraduate student, she also studied dance and drama, performed on the main stage, toured with ECU’s Storybook Theatre, worked in various roles backstage, and conducted theater workshops in public schools while fulfilling her role as Miss Black and Gold North Carolina 2011. Sabrina completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Magna Cum Laude, in Theatre Education from East Carolina University.

Jennifer Goude - Music Department Secretary
Jennifer has been an employee at DHQ in Charlotte nearly 18 years with 10 of those years being in the Youth department.
Jennifer brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position and is an important member of the department.
Jennifer is heavily involved at the Charlotte Temple Corps where she is the Guard leader and also a Sunday school teacher.
